Varon Vehicles Corporation Responds to NASA’s Urban Air Mobility RFI

Varon Vehicles Corporation has responded to NASA’s Urban Air Mobility (UAM) Grand Challenge RFI. NASA and the FAA have announced their intention to build and lead a community for this nascent industry, and Varon Vehicles has responded to be considered as a NASA UAM industrial member.

The NASA Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate (ARMD) has expressed its commitment to enable new, transformational commercial aviation markets and services with the potential to provide significant societal benefits and plans to build on experience and lessons learned to help advance the UAM industry. The NASA ARMD vision matches that of Varon Vehicles, to revolutionize urban mobility by enabling a safe, efficient, convenient, affordable, environmentally friendly, and accessible air transportation system of flying cars. NASA believes UAM is emerging as one of the most exciting frontiers in aviation history, probably to become the next aviation revolution since the invention of the jet engine. Varon Vehicles Corporation has expressed to NASA and the FAA its willingness to be an active member of this industrial community and its commitment to participate and support NASA’s UAM Grand Challenge.
